stupid things people say

Sorry-- just need to rant. If someone is with you and they don't look like you, why are people dumb and say stupid things? I was with my son today and someone actually, no joke, at the doctor's office, made slits with their eyes! AGH. Things are hard enough without this extra.

I am a part of a biracial family and get the same thing. People will ask if I am the babysitter, or if my daughter is adopted. Its a shame really that people are so closed minded.
