When to introduce

When would you suggest introducing your kids to your new partner/girlfriend/boyfriend? The guy I was dating (the father of my child) and I broke up around the holidays and are back together now. I'm wondering when I should introduce him to my kids from my marriage?

I have heard different theories about this. Some people say it is better to take and wait until things are serious. I think it also depends on your kids' ages. You don't want to confuse them, that's for sure!
