My kids love to play when it rains on a very warm day. I sometimes join them to help me relax. It does feel good to play with them because I feel like I'm a child while playing with them. Do you let them play in the rain like I do? For those in the colder region, let's change rain into snow.
I don't because his resistance to colds and flus isn't that great yet. I think he likes the idea though, he is always trying to push out his little fingers to feel the raindrops.
I absolutely love playing in the rain or the snow with my kids. We always have good fun doing it! I suppose now that I'm pregnant though, I'll have to take a break from this for a while.
Mine is too young to play in the rain, or the snow! I love having her around though, and I'm sure once she gets a bit older we'll do that. I have such great memories of doing this with my folks when I was just a baby.
Many parents will not let their kids play in the rain for fear of them getting sick but if you ask a doctor, the odds of them getting sick are slim. We always play in the rain as long as it isn't storming.
You get sick from viruses, not from playing in the rain. We LOVE to play in the rain-put our rubber boots on and go puddle jumping. Its great fun, and hey, its only water.
I think playing in the rain with the kids is fun! It's only water and perhaps a little mud after all! Mine is a little young for playing in the rain but soon I'm sure we will be out splashing around!

I remember one time when we were having a good time under the rain and a lightning stroke our neighbor's tree. My son had fever after witnessing that. It's not about the rain but I think it's the fear that he felt. He became alright in the morning.
Playing in the rain is a blast, and playing in the snow, even better! We love every kind of weather; the trick is to have the proper outdoor clothing that allows you to enjoy every day of the year. The outdoors is where the fun is!!
