I know it is difficult for single parents who are working to have time to do homework with their children, how do you manage with the other things that demand your attention?

It's hard for any parent to work and then do homework. Believe me, it's a struggle.... I help my daughter with her homework all the time, I also help study for tests. I work full time outside the house, plus run her here and there, cook dinner, etc.

Being a mom is a tough job, but it's my favorite job!

You may be surprised at what a woman can do when life demands it. My children are the most important thing in my life so their homework is equally important.

Yes you are right, it is hard for a parents who are working to do the homework of their child. Some parents was getting a home teacher. But some says, their child's homework is their top priority because they love their children. For me, that was only a time management. If parents know how to manage their time perfectly, they can do the homework of their child even if they are working.

Marian - I'm guessing you mean help with the homework and not "do" it ;) It is hard to get it all done, but it has to a priority. If you have children that are motivated and organized to do it themselves, all the better. But sometimes, you do need to stop what you are doing to sit down and help.

Prepping for dinner and/or cleaning up from dinner are two great times to have the kids in the kitchen with you while they are doing their work. No TV, just some quiet time for work to get done (housework & homework).
